This section lists the changes between different builds of the 7.1 release. The latest build is on the top.

Version:7.1.4.3 - Released on 07/07/01

Corrected a problem with Am62A emulation blanking out the display some times.
Box drawing characters were being drawn in lower intensity some times.
When the host is Unix, Native file transfer commands would now invoke the correct commands. However, please note that the cpc command requires the host side file name and can not be invoked from the menu.
Native file transfer is now compatible with older "cpu" commands (for non-ANSI emulations, only). Please use the new "cpu" commands for full compatibility.

Version:7.1.4.2 - Released on 12/27/00

Wyse50 emulation was not showing some screens correctly after build 3.0. This problem is corrected in this build.
Saving the configuration file used to hang up the application sometimes with the hour glass showing.

Version:7.1.4.1 - Released on 11/17/00

Modem File Transfer was displaying an "error message" on some PCs. Corrected other problems related to Modem File Transfers (multiple Z-Modem file send,Progress bar display, etc).
KeyBoard was getting locked on start up when Insight Terminal Driver was used.
Modem Dialling Prefix - Reduced the delay after the dialling Prefix from four commas to one comma. 4. Native file transfer - Silent mode (/S) will no longer display file transfer progress bar.

Version:7.1.4.0 - Released on 10/02/00

Send operation in modem file transfers is modified to accept long filenames.
Alt key works as Escape key when "Use Alt as Func key" is enabled.
You can select and save another Printer name when the old one is deleted.
Terminal emulation problems with box scrolling, and Clear to end of screen have been resolved.
Save/restore area was not re-painting the last column some times.
Cursor was getting lost some times.

Version:7.1.3.5 - Released on 06/26/00

Modem initialization sequence were not going through sometimes.
Control+C Handling is changed to ensure proper functionality for all types of host.
Confirmation to Disconnect is added for Disconnect HotKeys; Ctrl+Shift+D, Ctrl+Shift+H. It can be enabled/disabled by using Confirmation At exit.
CPC/CALF File Transfer will now continue to transfer files even if it encounters Null/Zero length file.
A Purchase Button is added in Help Menu; to let user Purchase/Change Software License.
TELNET connection used to say terminal type "UNKNOWN" for certain terminal emulations like WYCOL, etc.
UDK Keys/Value max length is changed to 19 Characters.

Version:7.1.3.2 - Released on 06/21/00

TELNET negotiation improved to work with Unix hosts & be fully RFC compliant. The default configuration
file has been changed to include full RFC compliance for Telnet sessions.
Startup commands were not getting sent properly in some instances.
Attribute handling has been corrected for Field terminals. Attribute flow has also been corrected.
UDK Editor was not reading the .UDK files correctly causing an error.
UA-FTP was not showing the files on the floppy drives.
UA-FTP has a new option to transfer files in the lower case to the host.
Attribute handling for the bottom status line corrected for field terminals.
Cursor addressing corrected for 132 column screens for some applications.
Added a facility to remember the font selected in 132 column screen.
Main application used to loose focus when Modem was connected.
Aborting the modem dial up will now display "Disconnecting Modem" message before the abort dialog box.
Start up commands were not getting sent to the host on modem & serial connections, some times.
Double clicking on the .aln configuration file was not starting STEP++.
Closing the application while modem was still connected used to leave STEP++ running.

Version:7.1.2.1 - Released on 03/17/00

Some of the menu items like Control C, Control S/Q local handling were not getting set initially on start up.
Sometimes the emulation window was not getting sized at startup.
PCI driver used with insight used to lock up on some screens. (AlphaLAN, Only)
Insight32 was not displaying the entire length of the List Box. (AlphaLAN, Only)
File Transfer (CPC/CALF/cpu), /O option was still putting up the confirmation dialog box on FTP connections. Serial connection were working fine. (AlphaLAN, Only)

Version:7.1.2.0 - Released on 02/10/00

Box drawing position was off with non-UA fonts.
Box drawing was off by one pixel on some fonts.
History Buffer will now maintain its current top. Also, fixed problems with scrolling of the lines in the history buffer.

Version:7.1.1.4 - Released on 01/31/00

Cursor will advance to the next field automatically when you enter the Activation Key.
UDK function codes were not getting recognized by the host. They are fixed.
