Set forth below is the understanding of an agreement
between
U. A. Systems, Inc. ("UAS") and you ("USER") for
using this
software program, LiTE, called "Product" henceforth.
This is a legal agreement between you and U. A. Systems, Inc. The
agreement consists of a software license and a limited warrantee.
By excercising the rights granted to you by
this agreement, you agree to be bound by its terms. If you do
not agree to the terms of this agreement,
please return the software to the place where the software was purchased for a refund.
Software License:
Demo License: U. A. Systemss gives you the right to use the
accompanying software program on a single computer (i.e., with a single CPU) for a limited time as determined by
U. A. Systems, Inc.
The demo license is provided for the purposes of evaluating the capabilities of the software. You may purchase the software after
your evaluation period is over.
Grant of License-Single User: U. A . Systems gives you
the right to use the accompanying software program on
a single computer ( i.e.,
with a single CPU). You may not network the software or otherwise copy or use it on more than one computer at the same time.
Grant of License-Network & Multiple User: U . A .
Systems gives you
the right to use the accompanying software program on the specific number of terminals
and/or computers for which the software license
was purchased. You may not copy or use it on more than the licensed number of
terminals and/or without receiving an authorization
from U. A. Systems, first.
Copyright: The software is owned by U. A. Systems, Inc. and is protected by
United States copyright laws and international treaty provisions. Therefore,
this software must be treated like any other copy-righted
material (e.g. a book or a musical recording) except that you may either (a) make one copy of the software solely for
backup or archive purposes, or (b) transfer the software to a single hard
disk provided that you keep the original solely for
backup or archive purposes. You may not copy, in any form, the written materials accompanying the software.
Other Restrictions: You may not rent, loan, sell or otherwise
transfer the software license to anyone else unless (a)
you permanently transfer all copies in your possession, and, (b) the recipient agrees
to the terms of this agreement. You may not decompile,
translate, reverse engineer or disassemble the
software. for a limited time as determined by U.A. Systems, Inc.
Limited Warranty
Limited Warranty: U. A. Systems warrants that the software will perform
substantially in accordance with its written materials and published
specifications, when properly installed on a properly configured
configured computer for which it is intended, for a period of 30 days
from the day of receipt by the original purchaser.
Limitation of Warranty: U. A. Systems makes no other warranty, expressed
or implied, with respect to this product. U. A.
Systems specifically disclaims any implied warranty
of merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose and makes products available
on an "as is" basis. In no event shall U. A. Systems or its suppliers be liable
to any one for any special, collateral,
incidental, or consequential damages whatsoever arising out of the use of or inability to use this product. The sole responsibility of U. A.
Systems, regardless of the form of action, shall not exceed the purchase price of the
product or the price paid to U. A. Systems
for this software license.
This agreement shall be governed by the laws of the state of
California. Some states do not allow the exclusion or limitation
of implied warranties or consequential damages, so the
above
limitations may not apply to you. Should
